MIKRON Metal Seated Ball Valve Designs
Metal seated ball valves are manufactured and tested for Class V and Class V1 shut off. All ball and seats are manufactured as a matched set, and then lapped together to meet or exceed desired shutoff requirements.
- Spring style metal seats with Teflon Insert, for Uni-directional shut off
- Metal seats, for Bi-directional shut off
- O-ring style seats, for Bi-directional or Uni-Directional shut off

The Mikron specialty ball valve is a floating ball valve with a two piece ball and stem. These types of valves have been proven to withstand and function exceptionally well in high temperatures and pressures. Since the stem is always perpendicular to the pipeline, leaking between the stem and the packing is minimized. Our Valves have a live loaded packing system in all valves as a standard option. This further ensures leak-free packing, less maintenance, and less downtime.
